Community Christmas
In 2011 The Matrix C.O.C partnered with the Walton County Sheriff’s Office to take the "Santa Patrol" in a new direction. Since that time the program has grown beyond our wildest imagination. In 2012 Catholic Charities and Salvation Army came on board to make this an even bigger and better event. In 2013 because of the amount of community partners, a vote was taken; that included a representative from every organization involved to rename our Christmas event to a "Community Christmas". The program currently services over 500 children with gifts, provides a traditional Christmas dinner to over 700 individuals and provides activities and entertainment for the entire family. |
